I love telling you guys about all the great, natural products out there these days, but it has been a long time since I have done a review on a non-toxic laundry product. To be honest, laundry soap is something I had a difficult time going natural with. I never knew if my clothes were getting cleaned, and I missed the fragrance of my favorite detergent. I was sent a laundry starter kit from Yoreganics, and I have been so impressed with the performance of it all!
Yoreganics started because a mom was on a quest to find a way to ease her daughters eczema. She succeeded by ditching the products with a long list of ‘not so good ingredients’ and relying on nature’s ingredients. I love showing that simple ingredients can be really effective and Yoreganics is both of those…..simple but SO effective!! In my starter kit I received a bag of soapnuts, a bottle of stain remover, and a bag of whitener. I was so 
darn excited to put these products to the test even if it meant doing laundry ;)!
I am so enthralled with my soap nuts. Seriously. A nut that can clean my clothes? Per directions, I put 5 soap berries into my husbands tube sock, tied a knot, and started a load of laundry. It was super easy and my clothes came out as clean as ever (most important part right?). The 5 soapnuts will last for 5-10 washes and then I’ll switch them out.

The stain remover is my favorite part of this whole kit. I wasn’t expecting it to be so amazing when I put it to the test by using it on my husbands white church shirt (you know….the ones that get terrible armpit stains that are impossible to get out?). Guess what? It took those stains right out! I was shocked! With simple ingredients like oils and aloe vera, I couldn’t see how this stain remover worked so well, but I certainly won’t complain. I will honestly never be without this amazing stuff!

Brightens and Whitens is something I use when I am washing my whites. It’s not a bleach so it’s safe on all materials and is easy on my family’s skin. I also use it along with the stain remover to get really harsh stains out (like the armpit stains).
