Carrabbas Italian Grill has a fun new quiz on their Facebook page. I actually just took the quiz and loved my results. It is a quiz to see how your personality compares to some of Carrabba’s signature pasta dishes! Check it out: Carrabba’s Pasta Personality Quiz on Facebook. It was fun to see that my pasta personality is Spaghetti! It says:
“You’re genuine and well loved, like Carrabba’s Spaghetti and Meatballs. Your warm and comforting personality makes you everybody’s best friend. So go for our equally popular hand-prepared meatballs over perfectly cooked imported spaghetti.”
Thinking about Carrabbas Italian Grill got me in a pasta craving mood, because their pasta is so good! That is an under-statement, it’s Amazing. Seriously my family and I love it so much and go there so often that the staff knows us well 🙂 And my 3 year old son gets super excited when we say “Do you want to go to Carrabbas?”! It is all so fresh and delicious and they serve amazing italian food. There isn’t a dish there that we haven’t liked. My ultimate favorite is the Pasta Carrabba. And their bread is always so fresh and warm out of the oven…I am in pasta heaven just thinking about it.
I have a favorite family pasta recipe that I am so happy to share with you all! It is a rich and creamy sauce and tastes so good. It is comfort food for sure. My family gobbles it all up and when I have made it for guests it is always a hit. The best part is, it is simply and easy to make. It’s a win win recipe for everyone! Try it out with your family I know it will be a success:
Yummy Creamy Chicken Pasta
Ingredients:
One 8 oz. package of Cream Cheese
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 1/2 cans of Milk (use can from soup to measure)
1 packet of Dry Italian Dressing Mix
1 stick Butter
Pasta- you can do any kind of noodle, my favorite for this dish is Penne or Bowtie (sometimes I mix both together).
Directions:
Cook chicken and chop into bite size pieces. Set aside.
Cook Pasta as directed on it’s package.
While Pasta is cooking combine cream cheese, butter, cream of mushroom soup, milk and dry Italian dressing mix packet in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium to high heat stirring frequently. Cook for about 15 min. or until butter and cream cheese have melted and mixed in.
Add chopped chicken into the sauce.
Serve over the noodles and Enjoy!
Optional: add cooked bell peppers and or asparagus on top, it’s so good and gives the dish extra flavor and nutrition.
