Ever since I had my second child my clothing has not been my friend. As a result dieting has become one of my New Years resolutions that makes the list every year. I was thrilled to find out that Weight Watchers was going to send me their new Sweet Baked Goods called Brownie Bliss to review. Who doesn’t love a nice chocolate brownie on a rainy day? For some of us with a sweet tooth, every day is a rainy day. Weight Watchers has set out to prove that its possible to experience Brownie Bliss without over-indulging.
They come in two flavors, Peanut Butter Brownie Bliss and Triple Chocolate Brownie Bliss. I had to show the packaging that the brownies were sent in. They were wrapped beautifully, almost like a valentines box of chocolates that my husband had bought for me. I was dying to be able to eat a yummy brownie without that feeling of guilt that we all get when we know in our hearts that we are cheating on our diets.
Each box has individually wrapped, portion controlled, brownie bites. The first box that I opened up was the Peanut Butter Brownie Bliss. “A decadent brownie layered with creamy, real peanut butter and a chocolaty coating. Each individual brownie is 90 calories.” The first bite was like a chocolate-peanut butter mixture made in heaven! I love that combination of flavors and was definitely not disappointed. They tasted just as good as they lookand it certainly was BrownieBliss!
The Triple Chocolate Brownie Bliss is the other flavor that they offer. “A decadent brownie layered with creamy, chocolate ganache and a chocolate coating.” Each individual brownie is only 80 calories. They tasted just as good as they look and did not taste like any diet brownie I have ever eaten before.
Both varieties of the Sweet Baked Goods contain zero grams of trans fat and have a PointsPlus value of 2 per serving. Since I just recently joined weight watchers I can say that this is a good thing because it means BYE BYE GUILTY FEELING AND HELLO BAKED BROWNIE BLISS! I can eat these yummy brownies without that feeling of cheating on myself.
They come in the perfect size also. They are not so small that you feel like you need to eat the whole box to fulfill that sugar craving and they are not so big that you feel like you over indulged and need to go put on a pair of sweat pants. The best part is that even my children loved them. They are a great way of letting my kids give in to their sugar cravings without feeling like a bad mommy. They are even the perfect size to barter with my son to get him to clean up his toys!
