My 5 year old Leah is now in Kindergarten and absolutely loves to learn. I couldn’t wait to introduce her to the VTech InnoTab 3S Tablet, which we received to review. We actually already have the VTech InnoTab 2S tablet BUT I love this one even more. What I noticed was different right away is that the VTech InnoTab 3S Kids Learning Tablet has a rechargeable battery pack as well as an AC adapter which is included in the package. Now you can play up to 9 hours of battery life and not have to change the batteries out! The charging takes place inside the system so there’s no need to remove the batteries.
The InnoTab 3S can connect you to the Learning Lodge and also comes with 20 apps! “The Learning Lodge gives parents and children access to purchase hundreds of engaging, age-appropriate games, videos, e-books and music, endorsed by VTech’s team of educational experts. By the end of the year, the Learning Lodge will expand from its current library of 350 titles to over 600 titles that teach reading, math, social studies, handwriting, science, problem solving, geography and more. Parents can even track their child’s learning progress online. Leah really liked being able to pick out an additional free app in the Learning Lodge and picked out a really fun Chef Maker game! What I really love about Learning Lodge is that each game is broken into type, age and educational. The fun Chef Game helps Leah with Vocabulary and I noticed her sounding out the words then looking for the beginning letter of each word to
find the ingredient.
The next thing different that I thought was super cool was how Leah could connect through her tablet to Mom & Dad’s smart phone or our Ipad! Leah could really send us pictures or cute little text messages.

The VTech Innotab 3S is also equipped to connect to Wi-Fi but in a very safe manner, called Kid Safe Browsing. There are several websites already loaded onto the Innotab 3S such as Wacky Web Tales and Sports Illustrated Kids! Plus there is a password protected Parental Controls that allow Parents to add in additional safe websites and put in a time limit on web searching!
Kids can also listen to MP3, take pictures and make amazing videos with the 2.0 MP camera, make movies and more!
