My girls both really love to dress up. Charlotte is almost 2.5 and is getting to that age where she always wants to do what big sister is doing, especially dressing up! I was so excited to get a cute tutu set from Just Pretend Kids to review.
Just Pretend has a great selection of Kids Dress Up and Costumes that is unique and fun! I decided to pick out a cute leotard, watermelon tutu, wand, headband and wings from their Fruit collection. I was beyond thrilled with this cute outfit. Charlotte loved dancing and waiving her magic wand around. She is starting to really imitate and copy Leah and she even tried a couple somersaults for me!
Charlotte was very worried that the leotard or tutu would be scratchy and she told me it wasn’t and didn’t want to take it off. I was really impressed with the quality of this cute outfit. I loved the fluffiness of the tutu and the vibrant colors. I also really loved that the leotard wasn’t rough, it was super soft and so pretty. Charlotte loved wearing the leotard even without the other items too! She immediately began prancing around and dancing!
Just pretend sells a variety of items like the outfit we received. They have a great selection of Girl’s Tutus, leotards, wands, wings and other accessories! They have a lot of different styles to choose from like the fruit, insect or flower collection!
Just Pretend also sells a really cute collection of Costumes & Dress Up items. I really love the Ocean Mermaid and Queen of Hearts dress ups. They also sell Infant rompers like the cute dragon and flower!
“Wyla Inc. (the parent company of JustPretend® and JustPretendKids.com) has been designing, producing and supplying tulle, lace and novelty fabrics for over forty years. We take special care to make the finest quality fabrics at affordable prices. Because we have experience with our own children and grandchildren we know how important it is to produce fabrics that are comfortable and safe to wear while at the same time being beautiful and magical.
We believe that Pretending is a human way of practicing for real life.
Several years ago one of our core fabric chain retailers asked us to produce tutus and costumes for them using the fabrics that we supplied to the market. Those tutus and costumes were the first stages of what has become JustPretendKids.com.
Our Just Pretend® tutus, wands, wings, accessories and children costumes are made with these same values for quality, comfort and value in mind. When you hold our costumes you will feel how soft they are. We use the finest tulle with just the right finish to make our tutus. Our wands are made to minimize danger from sharp points or dangerous materials. We do not sell any items that we would not want our own children or grandchildren to wear or play with.
We believe that Pretending is a human way of practicing for real life. In many cases it helps us decide what we want or do not want, to be when we grow up. Playing dress up and pretending to be a princess, a pirate, or a dragon are great ways for children to explore and learn about the world and about themselves. We take special care to try and instill our products with this same intention. We want our costumes to make your children feel like princesses, pirates, dragons and lady bugs, and to inspire them to dream, laugh, imagine and explore.
On a more personal note; when my daughters were young, they loved to dress up and to just pretend. My oldest pretended to be a mom and designer and my youngest pretended to be a frog and a teacher. Today my oldest is a mom and a fashion designer and my youngest, though not a frog is a mom and an elementary school teacher.
Now we (my business partner and I) have six grandchildren, and they love to dress up in our costumes and tutus and pretend to be princesses, pirates and frogs! We hope your kids love our costumes and that they bring a smile to their faces and to yours.
