Our family is really big into reading. I absolutely love to read and if I can get really dive into a book that is where you will usually find me. I am so happy that my 2 girls also love to read and be read to. My good friend Alicia who is a consultant for Usborne Books was happy to have us review First Sticker Book-Easter, That’s Not My Lamb, and 50 Easter Things to Make and Do!
I hosted an Usborne Book party through Alicia about a month ago and couldn’t believe how many awesome books I received! I decided to host a party through Alicia not only because she is my friend but because I believe in the importance of reading. Reading has always played a really important part in my life since I was young and Usborne Books is a great way to get some really wonderful books. When I hosted an online party, family and friends came and played games, watched YouTube videos and chatted. It was the perfect way to really find some wonderful books for my home library.
Some of the books that I picked were “Secrets of The Apple Tree” which is a really cool book!
“Who lives around the apple tree? Shine a light behind the page and see …
Explore a tree up close and you will find a small world filled with great surprises! From worms wriggling among the roots, to birds nesting high in the branches, the hidden wonders of this amazing habitat are revealed when the page is held up to a light.” I am putting that one in Leah’s Easter basket for sure! I also picked out a really cool drawing book for Leah, That’s Not My Pig and a couple other ones that are just as great!
Usborne Books has been around awhile and I really love their selection. I have several of the That’s My…series, like the That’s Not My Pig, My Sheep, My Dog, My Truck etc. My girls have loved those books from the time that they were born. I love the touch and feel part of the book and love that the girls are so engaged in the pictures and with reading.
Alicia with Usborne Books sent us the That’s Not My Lamb book and Charlotte absolutely loved it. It is really cute and perfect for Easter! Leah insisted on reading it to Charlotte and they had lots of fun. Alicia also sent the 50 Easter Things so Do book and Leah could not put it down! She went through the book on her own and picked out all of the different pages she wanted to create and got to work. Leah made a lot of pictures with little chicks, flowers, bees etc. I couldn’t believe how many great ideas this fun book had! We also received the First Sticker Book-Easter and the girls sat down together and worked on it. Leah loves decorating pages and Charlotte loves stickers so it was the perfect book for them!
Usborne Books has books for all ages from babies up to middle school and more! I love their selection of activities and the search and find books. My sister in law ordered from the party I hosted and she loved her books and so did her 2 cute boys!
If you would like to learn more about Usborne Books or would like to host an online party please contact Alicia on her Usborne Book site at http://z3353.myubam.com/shop! She is seriously so fun and great to work with. I had tons of questions and she was able to answer all of them!
