Granted we went on a less crowded day. The express passes cost a little more on busy days so if you are looking to save money, choose a day where express passes are less. Even at the full price on the busiest day, I think it is worth saving up a little longer to get the Express passes.
The way it works is, at each attraction, there is a separate line for Express Pass holders. You find that line and an employee will scan your park ticket which will allow you to skip the regular line. I loved this so much!
Note that you will only be able to skip the line for each attraction one time with the Express Pass. So if you want to ride again for a second time you will have to wait in the regular line.
My husband and I arrived at Universal Studios Hollywood around 11:00 am and we were able to see and ride everything we wanted all by 5 p.m. And the best part was being able to go ride to ride, show to show without standing in lines. This was everything! I feel like skipping the lines was so much more relaxing experience and I wasn’t completely exhausted when we left the park.
We stopped by Krusty Burger in Springfield and got the Double Krusty Burger, it was so good! Take your burger into Moe’s and grab a long island iced tea. Yum! It’s fun because they play little clips from the Simpsons that show Moe’s. It’s a really fun time.
I also really loved seeing the Christmas holiday decorations and they are celebrating Grinchmas right now. It’s a great way to get you in the spirit of the holidays, or not if you prefer to be like the Grinch.
It was my first time visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and I had such a great time. The Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is an incredible ride, seriously so cool! Definitely worth checking out.
Also, Butter Beer is a must have when in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Yum, yum, yum!!!
The Studio Tour is a must ride, and my favorite attraction, so be sure to check that out while you are visiting.
Another thing I love about Universal Studios Hollywood
The Jurassic World Raptor Encounter is absolutely adorable and super cool. They make it seem like the raptors are real and the trainers treat them and the crowd as such. Kids will flip out over how cool this is. You can even get a picture with Blue if he is willing to participate (wink wink). So much fun!
But my very favorite character to meet was Beetlejuice. He was hilarious and had us laughing so hard. He was totally in character acting like Beetlejuice would in real life. It was one of the funniest character
We had such a great time running around Universal Studios Hollywood like kids. The Express Pass is so worth it and I will be buying them for all my future visits.
