It’s rapidly approaching that time of year where you want to get out of the house and enjoy the summer with the kids (whether teenagers or just starting out) but the cost is ever increasing in recent times, it’s slowly emptying out my pockets. But – if we can save on every day like groceries, clothing and the dreaded phone upgrades then we can free up some cash for those glorious summer days out! (Ice creams all round?). Did you know you can usually save on average $50 on any shop by just doing 10minutes of research for a coupon code?
I’ve put together a list below of the top 5 coupon and voucher codes sites, so you don’t have to go hunting on Google for those elusive money-saving voucher codes. (yep, we’re always jealous of the person in the queue who’s saving hundred’s on their shop!)
CouponFollow has been around for quite a while, but it has thousands of coupons from top stores including Walmart which is brilliant. If you’re looking for fashion codes for the likes of Shopbop then this is the site for you. (It also has a neat plugin called “Cently”, but it get’s fairly techy installing it)
Excellent site based on saving cash for moms. Has a lot of great tips as well for saving money around stores.
New one on the market, it actually goes about curating a lot of the coupon codes so they always work – which is kinda smart! (I hate it when they don’t work – argh!!)
We have to put Groupon, it’s always good for a local discount like the cinema (Go see Solo or Wreck-It Ralph 2!) but it’s started to lack basic coupons recently.
RetailMeNot has always been around. It’s always good if you can’t find a coupon at the above sites. Beware!! Some of these codes don’t work and they are community uploaded so you may find yourself trying at least 10 to find a working one.
