Our family has been anxiously awaiting our little girl to arrive…only 11 more weeks to go! So I have been thinking of ways I can update what is now Charlotte’s room into a nursery. One of the items I came across while surfing etsy was the cutest Teepee‘s ever! I thought what a great item to add to the nursery!
What I love about the Tip Top Teepee Shop is how many different Teepee’s they have to offer! These are perfect to use outside for play or indoors like I am doing. I decided to add it to the nursery as a reading nook or a place that the girls can go in and hang out with the baby! I love how many different colors that this fun shop has to offer! BUT what I love the most is how well made this teepee is.
I have seen other teepee’s that slip and slide on the poles and don’t really stay up. But the girls have been playing in it and it has not tipped over or slipped once! The Tip Top Teepee also has little buttons on each side in order to pull the fabric back which I love.

This teepee has full pole pockets, so it is much more sturdy and stable than teepees without pole pockets, or with partial pockets or loops. It also includes matching button tie backs so the doors can be opened and closed during play.
My teepees are made with high quality wood. No yucky PVC poles or popsicle shaped pine sticks for my poles! We hand cut them ourselves and sand them smooth so every pole is perfect.
This teepee is 50″ wide by 50″ deep on the INSIDE base. It is about 8″ wider from pole end to pole end at the base. It is 5 feet tall including the poles when it is set up. The inside fabric height in the middle of the doors is approximately 52″. This is the perfect size for any play room or living space, and it’s completely portable! Take it to the park or the beach or to Grandma’s house for a special play date. Set up and take down in about 10 seconds.
YES, we use our teepees outside all the time. And inside! We use them everywhere! Please remember to bring your teepee indoors during windy or inclement weather, or overnight. Remember, direct sunlight can fade this particular teepee, so keep it in a nice, shady spot if you use it outside.
