I absolutely love breastfeeding. For me it is such a special bonding time between me and my baby. Of course I wish I could always be with my baby 24/7, there are times when I have to be away. So I will pump breast milk while I am away and baby will have a bottle with breast milk from her care giver. The NUK Simply Natural Freemie Cups are designed to help you pump discreetly. You just place the Collection Cups right into your bra from the top of your shirt and remain fully covered. I like that they fit snuggly in my bra and I don’t have to adjust them again once I get them on right. My bra keeps them in place. The only downside I could see from this is that your bra might stretch out if you use these everyday. But I think the convenience of these cups and hands free pumping make it well worth the risk of having to buy a few new bras.
A few months ago I went to an event and left baby with her aunt. While I was at this public event I had to pump my breasts. It was a little awkward having to hold the pump on my breasts. I have also since used the NUK Freemie Collection Cups in public and it is so much better. I like that my hands are free to do otherthings (check my phone, help my older children, etc…) but especially that I don’t have to hold them and draw extra attention to myself. Using these helps me to feel more comfortable pumping in public.
When you turn the collection cup, it has the oz. measurements written so you know how much milk you have pumped. It can hold up to 8 oz. I like that it has a place where I can pour the milk out into a bottle or breast milk bag.
The parts are all easy to put together and take apart. It is also easy to hook them up to my breast pump. I really love these collection cups and definitely recommend them to all breastfeeding moms.
