This summer my girls and I have really been on the go! We have had gymnastics, summer acting camp, swimming lessons, family vacations and more! I have now been able to feed them and myself while running out the door! What my girls and I have been craving is the new Balance Bars! They come in tons of flavors, but the ones we love best are the Dulce de Leche and Caramel, Dark Chocolate Pecan Turtle and Chocolate Caramel Peanut Nougat!
These yummy nutritious bars really give my girls the energy we need to finish out the day strong. I really love that when we are running late that I can grab a bar and just eat it in the car. What’s even better is that they contain 5-7 grams of protein, 5-7 grams of Fiber, oh and did I mention that they taste sweet like a candy bar!
I am not a huge sweets person, I love things that are more salty, however I love me some chocolate and I absolutely LOVE dark chocolate it’s my favorite! So I couldn’t wait to try the new Dark Chocolate Pecan Turtle Balance Bar! It has dark chocolate and the pecans and carmel are a bit salty, they make the perfect balance!
As a woman I often crave foods that may not be good for me or I am told to look or act a certain way. I love that I can have that sweet tooth filling with something that is good for me too! I really love that 1 balance bar has 190 calories or less, I don’t have to feel guilty about eating one of these.
Oh and did I mention that my 4 year old Charlotte loves these “smart” snacking treats! She loves that she can eat a “candy” bar for breakfast or snack and mom says it’s ok!
Leah starts school next week and has asked for these in her lunch as a very smart choice!
