Pinners expo conference is the best for crafty creators, and lovers and admirers of crafts to join in together on all the fun! Pinners is hosted by Home Depot, and is a conference that stretches across the United states. You can attend in Kansas, Georgia, Idaho, California, Texas, Indiana, Utah, and Arizona. Even if you feel like you are not particularly the crafty or creative type, there are 120 different classes that you can sign up for to help you feel like the crafty type! You can learn anything from how to watercolor, to learning how to give haircuts! They even have cooking and baking classes to hone in on your excellent homemaking skills. This is the ideal conference for moms, crafters and non-crafters alike! It is a great opportunity to take a day with your gal friends to learn about some of the great crafty business owners in the area, as well as take some girl time to do some fun pinteresty crafts together!
Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach
The Sawdust Festival happens every year, but also offers art classes year round! If you are ever in Laguna Beach visiting, you can always come and visit, and do not need to wait for their festival to take place in order to participate in what the city has to offer. Laguna Beach is known for being an art city, where many who reside there are well known artists. During the festival each year, fun events are put on, and there are many crafts that you can join in on that are offered to everyone who comes. It is so fun to look at the beach themed art and learn a new way to make art with some of these artists.
GeekCraft Expo
This expo is more for the crafters who are also into geeky things such as StarWars, Marvel, Disney, Lord of The Rings, etc. These crafters are unique in the fact that all their crafts are themed! If you are also a crafter and are interested in something nerdy, this is a great place to get to meet some fellow nerds where you can just be yourself and geek out together! These expos take place all throughout the year in different locations such as Seattle, Madison, Minneapolis, Portland, and St. Louis. This is a great place to come check out the trade show displays, or to even display your own crafts if you have some you are looking to sell to get our name on the market!
Holy Cow Boutique
If you are Local to Utah and are into the more traditional crafts, the Holy Cow Boutique is a place where people from all over Utah come to display their arts and crafts. They have everything from books, handmade cards, handmade soaps, handmade earrings to treats and goodies! It is a very fun place where you can set up a booth if you just love to create and have items you would love to sell. It is a great place to go as well to get unique Christmas gifts or Birthday gifts for someone who may seem like they already have everything. You will truly find one of a kind items here, and the best part about it is that they put this boutique on 3 times a year, and it is not over crowded like an expo. It is a smaller atmosphere that makes you feel cozy and not overwhelmed.
