When it comes to quality, Maxi-Cosi doesn’t cut any corners. As soon as I took the Magellan out of the box, I honestly thought “Oh wow, this is by far the best car seat I’ve ever owned!” and I have 3 kids, soon to be 4, so we’ve had our fair share of car seats. Along those lines, I’ve never had a forever car seat. We’ve always had to replace car seats semi-often, and that gets super pricey. I love the idea of making one car seat purchase for your child’s whole car seat career! The Magellan has a cover that is SUPER easy to take off and wash, so the seat will always be clean.

I love all the extra pillows and padding for newborns- it’s always a little weird to put your precious, brand new baby into a car seat- but the Maxi-Cosi Magellan has thought of everything when it comes to comfort. The pictures above with the doll speak for themselves! (I know that doll wouldn’t pass any hospital car seat tests, but I have 3 boys so my doll selection is limited ?. But you get the idea of how safe and snuggled a teeny newborn can be in there!

And of course my Nixon who is 17 months old- he loved this seat! I loved that it was SO easy to make the adjustments from newborn to his specifications. The manual that comes with it is very clear, and it really takes very minimal adjustments.
