I am one of those people who do NOT have a very good sense of direction. I have to use a GPS or some other device to help me find my way almost everywhere I go. It’s kind of embarrassing sometimes because I remember typing in the address to a restaurant I wanted to go to and I literally drove around for 25 mins and couldn’t find it! I ended up calling 2 of the places to eat and someone finally could direct me on where to go. What’s worse is I had both my kids with me and they were both starving and it was the babies naptime! If I had had the Verizon VZ Navigator App on my phone that never would have happened.
Another scenario is we were traveling to Arizona in October and we needed to get gas I couldn’t remember where the nearest gas station was and our GPS for some reason wasn’t working. We eventually found the gas station but I couldn’t think of where the exit was and how to get back. The new Verizon VZ Navigator App would have helped us out so much! Our GPS isn’t in real time and is a year old so it doesn’t always have the latest updates.
I also love this app for traveling to new places like our upcoming trip to Disneyland in May. On our upcoming trip I want to visit some restaurants that may not be very well know or are hard to find on the GPS because of the adress. BUT with this new navigation app I can find anything I need! Not sure where the best gas station is? Or how to get back on the freeway once you have exited? It looks that up for you too! I love that it check the weather where ever you are visiting and uses alternate route selector in case there is an accident or something else.
What’s great about this new App is that it offers awesome features like lane guidance, traffic alerts, local weather guides, alternate route selector and more! This navigation app by Verizon also uses natural language voice guidance, which uses traffic lights and number of streets instead of feet or meters, to provide a safer driving experience! Or say what you want using our automatic speech recognition for a safer experience.
Right now Verizon is offering a 30-day free trial for smartphones so that you can try out VZ Navigator for yourselves as you get ready to travel for the holidays. If you like it, it is only $2 a month after the trial expires. For more information about VZ Navigator, please visit: http://www.vznavigator.com.
