I own a couple monitors from Summer Infant and I love them! They are such great quality and are completely brag worthy. In fact, I have a Summer Infant monitor that I’ve owned for over 3 years and it still works as well as the day I got it.
So naturally I was thrilled when Summer Infant sent me their BabyTouch 2 Digital Color Video monitor to review.

When it arrived I was so excited I immediately set it up.
It comes with wall mounts so you can put it on the wall, I like it on the shelf in baby girl’s room but from looking at the instructions it looks pretty simple to mount it on the wall.
Let me just say I have never been so impressed by any video baby monitor like I am with this one. It has all the bells and whistles and I LOVE it!
I really like that the 3.5” LCD Monitor is a great size, not to big but not to small. It has a kickstand and a belt clip on the back.
The video quality is excellent anywhere I am in my home, even in my backyard. It is all color and it even has night vision so you can see your child in the dark.
It has LED sound activated lights so when baby makes noise you can see it as well as hear it. Another really cool feature is that it has a talk button on top and you can press and hold it to talk into your child’s room.
It has a magnetic stand you set it on to charge. I really like this because I can just pick it up and go, I don’t have to fumble with unplugging anything.
It displays the temperature of your child’s room in the top right corner. What a great way to know if baby’s room is too hot or too cold.
Probably my favorite feature is that you can move the camera using the touch screen on the monitor. You can move it left and right as well as up and down.
You can also zoom in from the touch screen to get a closer look at your baby. And most impressive by far, is that you can turn on the auto scan feature and it will follow your child around the room. I have tried it several times and it works! I am so impressed when I see the camera move on it’s own to follow my son as he walks around his room. That is a high-tech monitor! It’s perfect for putting in a play room so you can watch your child play and the camera will follow.
Another cool feature is that the camera has a soft glow nightlight on the back and you can turn it on from the touch screen monitor.
