I never really get to go and have a pamper me day or a pedicure or manicure. I just don’t have the time being a Mom. So when I heard about Jamberry Nails I had to try them out. My friend Bethany is a Jamberry Consultant and sent me a sheet of nails (includes manicure and pedicure) for me and 1 for the girls, plus some samples.
I was always wondering what the fuss was about with Jamberry Nails…now I completely understand! I had heard a lot about Jamberry Nails but had never really tried them…I was scared! What are Jamberry Nails you ask? Well they are a nail wrap that actually stays on your nails for 2-3 weeks at a time!Which means no chipping, flaking or having to repolish after only a few days! I will admit I was so worried about putting them on for the first time and it was actually not that hard!
I received some pink with white polka dots and they are darling!
So with Jamberry Nails the trick is to make sure the nail wrap is not touching your skin or cuticle because they will lift up. My friend Bethany is a consultant for Jamberry Nail Wraps and gave me some really great pointers when attaching my nail wraps. One of the things that she suggested was to put a blow dryer on a towel while attaching your nails. Now why the blow dryer? Well the heat source from the blow dryer is what actually makes the nail wrap flexible enough to bend and shape onto your nail! The Jamberry Nail Wraps sheet actually has enough wraps for a manicure and pedicure with some left over! So the tops of the nail wrap and bottoms are curved, you will cut these down in order to actually fit your nail, and you can later file the nail down.
What I love about Jamberry Nails is that for only $15 a sheet you get a 2 manicures and 2 pedicures maybe more!! When I head to a salon to get my nails done (once in a blue moon) it usually ends up costing me $25 for a pedicure alone!
