I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Sprint. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and to thank me for participating.
As you already know, I am a #SprintMom so I am an ambassador for Sprint and will be testing out several devices over the remainder of the year.
I’m excited to introduce you to the Kyocera Hydro Vibe waterproof 4G LTE smartphone because I think this is the perfect phone for teenagers or parents with young children. The reason I say that is because it is waterproof and has a tough screen. It “can be completely submerged in up to one meter of water for up to 30 minutes.” & it features a “4.5-inch impact-resistant screen that makes the Hydro VIBE a tough performer.”
My little sister, when she was a teenager (a few years ago) seemed to ruin every phone she owned with water in some way. Dropping it in the toilet or sink, etc…it was getting very expensive for my parents. Needless to say this phone really would have been great for her to own. When your kids are younger and have their first phone, you will want one that can with stand the accidents that will happen. It is also great since it is at a lower price point than other smartphones, but still has great performance and features.
“Stand up to life’s spills and splashes without worry”
It is also the perfect phone for a parent who lets their child play with and use their phone (as I do). Children, especially toddlers pose a real threat of dropping my phone in water, or spilling on it as they play with it. It is nice knowing my phone is safe from that as my daughter watches shows and plays games on it.
This is also the perfect phone for the summer. Family trips to the beach or pool, outdoor activities. You won’t have to worry about it getting a little wet as it sits on the towels, or if it accidentally falls into water. A few summer’s ago my husband jumped in to a lake with his smartphone in his pocket. It wasn’t until he came up that he remembered it was there. It was an expensive mistake. I love having this phone to take on trips like that so we don’t have to worry if something like that happens again.
I have been trying out this phone for a little over a week now and I really like it. The android interface is very user friendly. I find it simple to use yet it has everything I look for in a phone.
This phone features a 4.5 inch qHD impact-resistant touchscreen display, it is a good size screen while still allowing the phone to be small. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and video camera. And it has a 2,000mAh battery for longer use on a single charge.
