My girls most favorite thing to do at night is to take a bath. The girls usually bring toys in to play but grow tired of those easily. I was really excited to get the Splashimals and Splash Pals Waterproof Playing Cards from Winning Moves Games to review.
Charlotte and Leah were both super excited to play with the waterproof playing cards. These cards aren’t just perfect for the bath but can be played with by themselves or in the pool! We first decided to try them in the bath and the girls both loved them! Leah wanted to start with the Splashimals and see how many matches she could get. So basically I mixed up all of the cards and put them into the bath (30 cards, 15 animals in total). The girls were then told they had to find the other half of the animal and Charlotte and Leah both had to name what animal it was. Charlotte loved finding each animal card and putting them together!
Each card has half the animal and half of the word, these are going to be perfect when Leah is practicing her reading skills!
The next set we worked with was the SplashPals set. The Splash Pals has 36 Waterproof Cards and instructions. First you divide the cards into 3 piles Head, Body and Feet and then divide those piles so each person has and even amount of each pile. The girls each got head, body and feet and went to work building their silly characters! Each card has a number on it and you add up the numbers on the silly characters to see who is the highest to win! It was a ton of fun and then after we dumped them into the bath so the girls could each play together.
