I have seen those amber necklaces that moms put on their babies to help with teething and I have always wanted to try one out on my babies when they were having teething pain, but I just never got around to it. He seemed to worry a little less about sticking things in his mouth to chew on and seemed to relax into his normal happy self again.
I did occasionally catch him with his hand in his mouth but he was definitely crying much less than before. The clasp is really secure also. It is a screw on type of clasp so that he cannot pull it open accidentally. I have never seen him tug at it once! I love wearing a matching necklace. I have also noticed a calming effect come over me when I wear mine. I think its cute to wear a matching necklace as him. We get a lot of compliments when we go out together and I am wearing my necklace. I have not had to take his off of him yet. The necklace is a really beautiful accent to wear with any type of outfit. You can wear it to dress an outfit up or down.
