I received samples of SOPHi and Piggy Paint nail polish products for my review. All opinions are my own.
Have you heard of Piggy Paint? They have eco-friendly nail polish that is safe for using on you little ones fingers and toes. We love it in our house and that is all I use on my daughter. So I was really excited to hear that they have expanded to add an adult line of polishes. SOPHi.
“After countless requests, Piggy Paint is proud to launch SOPHi by Piggy Paint. This line for adults allows health conscious women to have a worry-free manicure. SOPHi is an odorless, hypoallergenic nail polish with a revolutionary PRIME + SHINE + SEAL System for maximum durability. This advanced water-based formula leaves nails healthy and does not cause them to yellow or become brittle. Natural & SOPHisticated nail polish at a competitive retail.”
I was sent a Prime+Shine+Seal System, Remover Gel, and 2 colors of SOPHi polish for my review. The colors I received were “It’s a Girl Thing” and PLUM-P Up the Volume”.
I used the prime+shine+seal system along with the pink it’s a girl thing polish on my toes. I love how they turned out! They look very pretty and I was super impressed by how long the polish lasted on my toes.
I had to take it off (because of nail growth) before it came of on it’s own. This is when I realized that it is tough to get off this polish. I highly recommend getting the SOPHi remover gel since that is the only thing that would work to get this off. And it took soaking them in the gel, scrubbing and repeating that several times. But the fact that it is hard to get off isn’t really a bad thing in my opinion because it means that this polish last really long which is a huge plus for me. I love that it doesn’t have that strong odor that other polishes have.
As a bonus I was also sent 3 bottle of Piggy Paint to use on my daughter! She loves having her nails painted, she’s such a girly girl.
What I like most about Piggy Paint for her besides that it is natural and doesn’t have that harsh odor, is that it dries so quickly. It is the only polish she has the patience to sit still while it dries. It doesn’t last as long as traditional polish (only lasts from 3 days to a week) but that is alright with me for all the bonuses it provides.
