When it comes to feeding your little ones I think any parent will agree that sometimes we find ourselves in situations that we didn’t think we would be in. Like begging your kids to try your favorite take out dish “really I have to beg you to eat this? It is so good! I pay good money to eat this”. And from these experiences come very entertaining and humorous stories.

For me, I have always struggled with letting my kids just be messy when they eat. I would rather feed them every bite and avoid a mess. But my kids might be looked at as “odd” if they never learn to eat on their own and their mom is sitting in the school cafeteria feeding them bite by bite. “Oh that’s a good boy, here comes some more corn”. So to avoid having my children be outcasts of society I had to learn to let go and just let them eat and make a mess! With my son it was a lot harder to relinquish this control, but now that baby number two is here. I just let her eat! Here she is eating a big bowl of ice cream and I didn’t interfere. She was covered in it by the end, and I survived! She loved it by the way, which makes all the mess worth it.
