I grew up watching Scooby Doo and now my kids like to watch it too. When I was asked to review Scooby Doo! 13 Spooky Tales: For the Love of Snack, it was easy for me to accept the offer. My oldest son loves that each episode is always a good mystery that needs to be solved. He says that figuring out what the twist is going to be in each episode is what he looks forward to when he watches Scooby Doo. Now he is 12 years old. My 4 year old loves that Shaggy and Scooby are always getting scared and thinking about food. He says he wants me to buy Scooby Snacks for him so he can be just like Scooby.
So when we got the package containing the DVD Cody took off upstairs with it and decided he was going to watch it alone in his room on a portable DVD player. Next thing I know he comes back down and he has decided to wait and watch it with the family. He got spooked alone in his room watching Scooby Doo! HA! I was laughing at the time but I gave him a big hug and told him I would hold his hand if he got scared again. The Scooby Doo! 13 Spooky Tales: For the Love of Snack DVD contains a compilation of some of the best episodes that I have ever seen. Having them all together on one DVD really makes it convenient. We can decide to watch them all in one sitting or watch one episode a week if we like.
My younger kids love the silliness of Scooby and that he has his obsession with food. They also love Shaggy and how much he makes them laugh. They loved that the theme of the episodes on this DVD were food monsters and ghosts. Each episode showed off Shaggy and Scoobys “Love of the Snack”! It was really funny to watch and both my husband and myself enjoyed watching the DVD as well. I have written in past DVD reviews that we enjoy our family DVD night together where we all sit down and watch a DVD together. Scooby Doo! 13 Spooky Tales: For the Love of Snack has become a family favorite and has made it into our rotation for family night!
