I was so excited to have the chance to review the Moon Room from Joovy. I own and use many Joovy products with my kids so I couldn’t wait to try out this spacious playard with my baby girl.
When I took it out of the box it was all ready to go (I just had to remove some plastic & cardboard). I found it a little tricky to open and close due to it’s size. The instructions helped a lot and it just took a bit of practice for me. Now that I understand how to do it I have no issues.
It has great instructions for opening and folding the playard printed right on the back side of the bottom pad which is very convenient. There is also a storage pocket for the manual so you will always know where it is.
Right away I was impressed with how much room there is inside this large playard for baby girl. And the purpleness color is adorable!
It is perfect for setting outside for baby to have a safe place to play while I do yard work, during a barbeque, etc…It has a lot more room than a standard playard so she feels like she has a big playing space. She really enjoys being in it.
It is also great for indoor use, playing and sleeping.
I love that it comes with a white fitted sheet, I prefer to use the sheet at all times since it is a very soft fabric and protects the pad from messes.
It is bigger than a standard playard so it does take up more space but I think it is worth it since it gives her so much more room to play and sleep.
As you can see it is very roomy and she will fit in this playard for sleeping for years to come!
The only down side is that even when it’s folded up it is very large. It takes up most of the room in my trunk so on a long distance trip it wouldn’t work, but for a short day trip to Grandma’s it is perfect! I love knowing that baby girl has a safe place to play in a house that is not baby proof.
