Our youngest Nixon is 9 months old, and just recently started crawling! I love watching him reach new milestones, but of course as well all know, with crawling comes a whole new world of hazards!

We were definitely in need of a new baby gate, and I couldn’t wait to test out Regalo Baby‘s Easy Open Baby Gate. A few things that made me decide to go with this one is that it first of all is a walk through baby gate (a must for us!), easy to open, and easy to install. I have two older boys who are 8 and 9, so this gate needed to work for them as well. (I tested it out in my kitchen because my basement has such terrible lighting.)

So what did I think? AMAZING!! I first have to say that absolutely, without a doubt this was the easiest gate to install I’ve ever used. The Regalo website boasts that this walk through baby gate is good for travel, but I have to admit I was a little skeptical! Would I really take a baby gate off of where I have it in my home, pack it, and bring it with us traveling or to Grandma’s? After actually installing it, I would say yes! The knobs that you use to twist to secure the pressure mounts are awesome. I also love that it comes with two different extensions, so you can use neither, one or the other, or both. Great for any place in your house!

It also is extremely easy to open, even for my older boys. It is sturdy in our doorframe, but if you were ever worried, it does come with a way to secure to the wall.

This gate absolutely solved our baby safety problems, and I would recommend it to anyone!
