Yummi Pouch was created in early 2012 when we noticed that despite the popular trend of disposable squeeze pouches for young kids, hardly any reusable food pouches existed. We wanted to provide moms and dads with a simple container to fill with delicious homemade baby food, smoothies, and healthy blended snacks for their active kids! Recognizing that it is easy to lose things when on-the-go — especially where children are involved — we knew that the solution had to be convenient and refillable, as well as affordable and simple.
Our design’s most prominent feature is also its most important — a refillable pouch that can be filled over and over again with your own homemade baby food recipes or other favorite blended snacks! Yummi Pouches will be available in packs for an affordable price and easily replaced if pouches get lost during life’s busy activities.
I have always been a fan of baby food squeeze pouches– it’s great! Easy, nutritious, fun for the kids… theres only one problem- they are pricey. $1+ per pouch adds up FAST! I was super excited to be able to review the Yummi Pouch reusable food pouch. Seriously, I’m a little sad I didn’t think of the idea first- it’s so genius! They are super easy to use- my first thought was “how do you get the food in?” but they have a super easy “zipper” close on the top. My boys are a little bit older now, so my favorite use for it has been freezing smoothies! Then you make a smoothie, eat what you want, and freeze the leftovers for a quick snack some other day! Love. And they are dishwasher safe too. Does it get any easier than that? I know you will love these refillable food pouches as much as we do!
