“Tough & smart, edgy & humorous. Angie Harmon & Sasha Alexander star as a combative, working-class Boston detective Jane Rizzoli and cool, cerebral medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles in an exciting police procedural with a compelling point of view (based on the bestselling novels by Tess Gerritsen). The two women, with their quricky and supportive friendship, investigate their city’s grittiest and most puzzling homocides. The Complete Frist Season, soon available on DVD, follows the two best friends as they combine their expertise to crack Boston’s most difficult cases.”
In the episode: Seventeen Ain’t So Sweet, Jane heads to her high school reunion and brings along Maura. The fun is cut short after a series of murders take place all involving fellow students. Jane is forced to focus on the past to help solve the case when she realizes that everyone in her class is a potential suspect.
I haven’t ever had an experience quite as dramatic as that with my past, but I do like to learn from my past. I call upon past experiences often to learn and grow from them. Particularly I have found that by examining the way I handled past situations (usually poorly) I can learn to react better the next time and grow to be a better person. Able to react to situations more maturely, calmly and with a more level head.
Have you had an experience or experiences where you have called on the past to help you?
