I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I just got 2 packs of Pull-Ups for my daughter. Now that I have them I am ready to try out potty training with my daughter. I personally will not ever do the straight to “big kid” underwear thing. I have friends who have done that and I think they are crazy! I don’t want to have to clean up a thousand messy panties, ewww gross. No way. Not for me!
I use Pull-Ups Training Pants all the way up until they are staying dry and clean. Then we switch to underwear. That is how I did it with my son and it was great. I don’t have any horror stories of being in the store and him having an accident. Never happened and that is the way I want it to stay, LOL!
It is also a great way to transition from diapers to underwear. Pull-ups get your child used to wearing something that pulls off and on easily without shocking them into the feel of underwear. Pull-Ups are, in my opinion, a really great way to make the transition.
If you are looking to make potty training easier, I highly recommend you use Pull-Ups training pants.
My daughter was really excited to see her new “big girl Pull-Ups” have Minnie Mouse and Cinderella on them. She loves them both.
I just love how there is a big bow on the back, how cute is that?! So girly! They are definitely Pull-Ups to get a girl excited about potty training.
The little crown or minnie mouse ears design will fade when wet. I love this because you can easily see if your child has had an accident.
I am excited to get started. Since my last post my daughter has started letting me know when she is going pee. That is a great sign that she is recognizing it as it happens and shows me is is really close to being ready to potty train.
I love that we can make her first flush a HUGE CELEBRATION! And that is how I plan to do it. I am loving all the fun celebration ideas and help on the Pull-Ups site. Like this really cute wheel your child can ‘spin’ (with help from mom). I can even add in rewards to it. So much fun and a cute idea!
Another thing I am loving is the Pull-Ups Big Kid App (It is available for download on iTunes and Android). It has a big kid checklist, a 3D star game, and of course ways to celebrate your child’s potty training. It is fast and easy to set up a character call (and it is super adorable). My daughter was so excited to hear Minnie Mouse calling her! I am loving the app and can’t wait to scan in the special maker inside her Pull-Ups pack to see the celebration!
Check out the great tools and resources available on the Pull-Ups Big Kid Academy page, their Facebook page, and their Twitter page. You can get so many great things to help in your potty training process, like printable charts, calls from fun characters, celebration ideas, and more! They even have a just for parents section where you can get support and read helpful articles.
