I wrote this review while participating in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Playskool. I received product samples to facilitate my party and review, and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
Charlotte was sent a super fun party pack from Playskool which included the new Let’s Imagine Elmo and of course the Stack n Spin Monkey Gears Game and the Transformers Mixable Mashable Heroes toys. Charlotte wanted to of course invite all of her friends and their Moms over and what better way to celebrate her 3rd birthday than with a fun Imagine Elmo Party!
Let’s Imagine Elmo comes with 3 hats the crown, cowboy hat and Sea Captain’s Hat. Each hat allows Elmo to be a different character. We can play Elmo Says when he wears the crown, or count with Cowboy Elmo OR my favorite Sail the Seven Seas with the Singing Sea Captain himself Mr. Elmo! We can even play with just Elmo himself. Elmo has a cute show called Elmo’s musical where he loves to imagine and pretend. My girls love to pretend to be princesses and cowgirls! Each part of Let’s Imagine Elmo is fun! I love how interactive Elmo is and super easy to use!
The Let’s Imagine Elmo was a huge hit with the kids and parents. Charlotte had girls and boys at her party and they loved trying on the different hats. Charlotte of course chose the crown and all of her friends got which hat they wanted! The crown and cowboy hats were the favorites among the girls and the Charlotte’s friend Nolan and Brinley loved the captain hats! We decided to all play Imagine Elmo and started with the Crown. The kids all loved squeezing Elmo’s tummy BUT what they loved the most was tickling him. It was so funny to see 6-7 3 year olds gathering around Elmo to tickle him and of course they all giggled the loudest!
One of their favorite things that we played with Elmo while he was the Sea Captain was to squeeze his tummy when you heard a seagull, foghorn and other things. We also loved playing freeze dance with Elmo! Captain Elmo would sing a song and the kids would have to dance and then freeze when he stopped singing! I love how well the kids listened to Elmo’s instructions! We also decided to play a rousing game of musical puddles (sea captain elmo gave me that Idea!) and each child was able to win prizes!
One of the cutest things was asking the kids what they Imagined they would like to be when they grew up. The answers were Princess, Pirate, Doctor, Elsa from Frozen, and Princess again! I loved how imaginative the kids got with
The kids loved their snack of Pretzels, grapes and Juice and of course singing to the Birthday Girl Charlotte!
“Let’s Imagine Elmo is trying on different fun hats, and he’s inviting your little one to play, count, and sing along with him! Whether he’s a counting cowboy, playful prince, singing sea captain, or just being himself, Elmo has 4 playful interactive modes with games, songs, and actions.
Elmo has his very own segment on Sesame Street called Elmo the Musical where he loves to pretend. With Let’s Imagine Elmo, your little one can get in on some of his adventures! Each hat unlocks a different play mode for your child to join and start the fun! When your little one puts the crown on Elmo, he pretends to be Prince Elmo and plays a game of “Prince Elmo Says.” Put on the cowboy hat, and Cowboy Elmo counts up to 20 with your child and then sings a reward song when they reach 20. The sea captain’s hat lets Elmo imagine he’s an ocean-going captain, and he’ll start up a sounds-of-the-sea identification game. When Elmo isn’t wearing a hat, he still loves to interact with your child by getting bounced, tickled, and having his nose squeezed!

The boys and girls both LOVED taking home the Mr. Potato Head Transformers Mixable Mashable Heroes and the Playskool Stack n Spin Monkey Gears Toy!
“What do babies and engineers have in common? They love to tinker! That’s why we designed this busy gear toy to spark your little one’s curiosity. As they stack and arrange their own gear track and watch it go ’round and ’round, you know that they’re also building important skills for later in life such as motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity!” (Hasbro/Playskool website)
