Personalized gifts and Trick or Treat bags with Zoey’s Attic Review & Giveaway

My girls are so ready for Halloween, in fact they have had their costumes picked out for over a month! I was really excited when we received personalized Trick or Treat Bags from Zoey’s Attic to review. We also reaceived an awesome Our Papa Rocks Shirt!

Zoey’s Attic is a great website that has personalized items for every holiday! I love that the girls were able to get personalized Trick or Treat Bags with their names on them! I decieded to pick them out and then surprise them. Of course they had to dress up in their costumes in order to play with their new bags.

Our neighborhood always does what’s called a trunk or treat up by the clubhouse. Families can head up there and cars or people are just lined up so you don’t have to go trick or treating on Halloween, you just show up there and that’s where you can hand out candy! The Trunk or Treat is usually the Saturday before Halloween. Well my girls love candy so of course they want to do the Trunk or Treat and go Trick or Treating. The girls were so excited to get their bags because they are big and can hold…you guessed it a lot of candy!

What I love is that these cute bags can be personalized in so many different ways. Leah and Charlotte both can not wait to fill these up with candy! There are so many different options to choose from! Zoey’s Attic also has some super cute outfits for the holidays coming up like Halloween and Thanksgiving and of course Christmas! I love the little turkey outfit, super duper cute! They have some clothing and shirts to announce pregnancies etc. too!

We also received a really cute shirt that says Our Papa Rocks with all of the names of the grandchildren around it! My Dad has been named Papa by one of my nephews and it just has stuck. My Dad recently was in the hospital for over 2 months and we almost thought we were going to loose him. But thanks to amazing Dr’s, lots of prayers and my Dad fighting he pulled through and is doing a lot better and is out of the hospital! I thought what better way to celebrate then with a shirt that states “Our Papa Rocks” and luckily I found one on Zoey’s Attic! I love that I was able to personalize this with all of the grandkids names. I decided to go from oldest to youngest and it turned out so cute! “Zoey’s Attic officially launched in November 2006 by creator and owner – me – Erin Delanty. The inspiration for the website came shortly after my husband and I, welcomed the birth of our first child, baby Bridget, in August of that year. Bridget offiially became a big sister herself in May of 2008 and the inspiration continues!

After searching unsuccessfully for out-of-the-ordinary newborn baby tees on-line and listening to friends who were having difficulty finding unique big brother/big sister gear, I decided to use my background as a graphic designer and web developer to design my own line of products.

My initial idea was to create a web-based shop where new parents and parents-to-be could involve all members of the family in exciting “baby news” by offering a variety of pregnancy or baby announcements and hard-to-find big brother/sister tees.

Zoey’s Attic sold its first shirt just two days after launching the website and development has expanded based on the initial and continuing positive response.

We’ve since grown to offer many more products for the whole family and look forward to everything in the works for 2013-2014!

Inspiration is easy – family and friends inspire me the most – by watching my own baby grow and observing my parents become grandparents, I constantly see new ways of looking at the world. I like to think (well, of course I do) but I really do believe that Zoey’s Attic offers cool, unique big brother and big sister products that reflect a fun, unique time of life for multiple generations.

Who is Zoey and where is her attic?

I often get called Zoey and asked about the origin of the name of the business. Looking for a name that had meaning to my status as a new mom, I settled on Bridget’s early favorite toy – a stuffed zebra. “Zoey” the zebra was given to Bridget when she was born by my mom. It was the perfect name to connect three generations.
