If you are looking for a perfect family movie for the Thanksgiving weekend then Frozen is most definitely it! Frozen is rated PG and is perfect for a family gathering. I was able to go and review this movie in 3D with Leah and her friend. Both of the girls were super excited and couldn’t contain themselves! Frozen is a cute movie about 2 sisters named Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) and Elsa ( voiced by Idina Menzel) When the girls were younger they were best friends and had tons of fun together. And then one day they were playing and Elsa using her icy powers almost hurts her sister. She was so devastated she locked herself away and they became like strangers living in their own home. Then as time goes by Anna grows more lonely until she meets Prince Hans from a faraway village (voiced by Santino Fontana) and that’s where our story really begins. This fun movie has romance, twists, turns, villains and great music!
“In “Frozen,” fearless optimist Anna (voice of ‘
Kristen Bell’ ) teams up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of ‘Jonathan Groff’ ) and his loyal reindeer Sven in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voiced by Josh Gad) in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.” (Frozen website)
My favorite character by far was Anna, I loved how courageous she was and no matter what she was going to help and save her sister. Leah’s favorite part was when Anna helped her sister Elsa and when Olaf the funny snowman lost his bum! Leah also loved Anna and Olaf, she couldn’t help but laugh and his funny jokes. Our most favorite part was when Olaf was singing about what he wanted to do in Summer, not knowing he would melt!
I absolutely loved Frozen and know that your kids will too. This is my new favorite Princess movie and I can’t wait to see it again!
