Hello again my lovely readers! I hope all is well with you and your loved ones at the time you are reading this review. Not too long ago I was asked to review an Astoria Dog Overcoat. At the time Spring still seemed very far away so I of course accepted because my children need to be warm even if they were born with their own fur coats! If you have read some of my more recent reviews then you have learned that I am a mommy to 2 very spoiled fur babies. They are my Am. Staff. Terrier Mookie, who is a big sissy baby and little Miss Motley, my Chihuahua, who is the boss of Mookie, always shivering, and seems cold. Both of my girls hate to go outside in the rain. I have to almost push them outside when it rains. I have a difficult time finding sweaters or coats that actually fit Motley but Mookie absolutely LOVES to wear her pink coat that is now very worn out. I took this as the perfect opportunity to take measurements of them both and hope to get a coat that will fit them properly and keep them dry.
When I received my package from Gold Paw Series, I was happy to find the Astoria Overcoat and the Fleece Pullover! Gold Paw Series had sent us waterproof Dog Coats for both of my dogs! I was very excited to get the coats on my girls and see how they looked in them and to see if Miss Motley would actually keep the Fleece Pullover on. Gold Paw Series were nice enough to send an Astoria Overcoat for Mookie in pink which is my favorite color to see her wear! The Astoria Overcoat is two-toned, with a dark pink that folds over as a collar onto the lighter pink color. I think it makes her look like a posh pooch when she has it on! The Astoria Overcoat secures on very easily with 2 velcro straps that did not seem to bother Mookie at all.

The second coat that I pulled out of the box was a super soft purple Fleece Pullover Coat. I could not wait to try this on Motley because in the past, if Motley did not like the way a coat felt on, she would wiggle her way out. I thought that the Fleece Pullover might just be comfortable enough that she might just leave it on. I was right! The Fleece Pullover is pretty light weight and as I said the material is really soft. Motley forgot she was wearing it I believe. See Motley loves to hide under blankets to stay warm and the Fleece Pullover feels like a comfy blanket that she can wear. Honestly the coats that Gold Paw Series sent us were the perfect solution to my spoiled girls issues with the rain! I really could not have found a better option or well made coat for my dogs. Both dogs love their coats and that makes me happy!

-Center chest seam is on the outside so that dogs get the most comfort from their fleece!
-can be machine washed and tumble dried on low
-Fits dogs that have trouble fitting into other coats!
I am really happy with the coats that I was sent by Gold Paw Series and I am going to order another style that they have on their website. I am just one of those moms that loves to spoil her kids when I can afford to and my dogs get to be spoiled as well!
