My kids are really into playing games and apps on their iPad/tablet, so I am always on the look out for new fun apps for them to play and enjoy. Recently I was introduced to the Painting Lulu Paper-to-Digital Coloring Sets and they are so much fun, my kids love them! They combine coloring in real life and coloring in an app. Best of both worlds!

We received all 4 sets to try out. The sets include: Barbie, My Little Pony, DC Super Friends, and Batman.
My kids immediately thought that these sets were super cool and love the idea of being able to use the paper coloring pages as well as color on their iPads/tablet.
They like that they can color the paper pages and then scan them into their Painting Lulu apps. It is a really cool way for them to be able to play physically as well as digitally with the same product.
I have to admit that my kids love the digital coloring stylus crayon the most, but also enjoy being able to color in the paper coloring books. My 4 year old can color on her tablet for hours using the stylus. It is especially nice when we are out running errands, I can easily bring the stylus along in my purse and she can color wherever we are.
Another cool feature of the app is that it allows you to take a picture and it becomes a coloring sheet. My 9 year really likes this feature and the fact that he can “create” his own coloring sheets.
