My husband and I love scary movies and You’re Next did not disappoint! You’re Next is now out in theaters and is Rated R and is not suitable for children due to the violence, goriness and general scariness. One thing I didn’t like about the movie is how bloody and violent it was. I love a good scary movie but without all the bloody details.
The characters in the filme are Aubrey(Barbara Crampton) and Paul(Rob Moran) play the parents. Felix(Nicholas Tucci), Crispian(AJ Bowen), Drake(Joe Swanberg), Aimee(Amy Seimetz) are their children. Erin(Sharni Vinson), Zee(Wendy Glenn), Kelly(Margaret Laney),Tariq(Ti West) are their children’s significant others. The people in the masks Lamb Mask(L.C. Holt) Tiger Mask(Simon Barrett) Fox Mask(Lane Hughes).
The Davison family goes on a 25th wedding anniversary getaway out in the woods at a home the parents own. Their children invite their significant others. They get attacked by strangers with masks in their own home. The family must fight back against their attackers. Does the Davison family survive? Or will they be taken down? It reminds me of an old school scary movie when they are out in the woods with no close neighbors nearby, so basically no one to hear you scream! The masks made the movie really creepy and scary. I will say that it’s pretty violent and bloody so if you can’t handle that sort of thing I wouldn’t go see it. My favorite Character and Actress in the film was Erin played by Sharni Vinson, she turns out to be an awesome Kick Butt kinda girl! If your in the mood for a scary movie then this one is the one to see this weekend.
