Hexbug is a totally new experience in our house- neither of my boys had ever had the pleasure of playing with them. Let me tell you- there were squeals of excitement and joy. They just absolutely think the Hexbug Olymic Warriors are the coolest things ever. Combine bugs and robots? Seriously, it’s a little boys dream come true. I find them sort of creepy because the will slip under the desk, bump around a bit, then come right back out- like a real bug! But of course my boys think this is fabulous. We were able to review a few things: 2 battle arenas, the Hexbug Warriors Battle Stadium (love), and a bunch of fun Hexbug Warriors Battling Robots– Caldera, Tronikon, Virdia, and Bionika.

They really loved the battle stadium, and watching them all fight each other at the same time. We would cheer for one and they were just really getting into it. We were able to have an awesome playdate and share our new toy discovery with our friends- everyone liked it, even the girls! It’s a great way to get all kids involved and having fun. They are relatively quiet, which is always a plus for parents. (Moms were still able to chat) I love that you can connect all the arenas to make one big one. Hexbugs make a great gift for any child you may have on your list, and they are GREAT for a playdate!
