Hello again mommies and friends! I would like to share that I really enjoy my mommy-baby time together when I am nursing my little ones. I am currently still breastfeeding my youngest son but have started the weening process. This makes me sad but at the same time I am amazed at how fast he has grown up and amazed that we have gone this long nursing. I have not made it this long with my other babies so its a huge accomplishment for us. When I was asked if I would review the Dream Feeder by Baby-Bee Haven I was happy to say yes. I could not wait to receive it. Some of you breastfeeding and even bottle feeding mommies know that babies love to fall asleep on our arms while they are drinking/nursing. Essentially, our arms become their favorite pillow to sleep on. The Dream Feeder helps make our arm an even safer, more comfortable place, and helps to relieve some strain from babies neck also!
When I received my very own Dream Feeder memory foam cushion I was delighted on the elegant pattern that it comes in. I love black and white. It really matches everything and you just can’t go wrong with black and white! I immediately noticed the perfect size that the Dream Feeder is for moms that need an on the go nursing pillow! I have a few cushions that I have gotten for breastfeeding around my home. The problem with them was that they were way too large to bring with me when I had to go out in public with my babies. I remember once trying to lug one of those large around the belly type pillows with me to a carnival when my daughter was a few months old. It really was no fun and I had to leave it in the car anyways. The Dream Feeder is a delightfully portable size that fits in my diaper bag AND even in my purse if I do not want to lug the diaper bag around! I LOVE portable sized items! I never thought that I would be so excited about the portability of any item until I started having to pack a bag to leave the house with my baby! The Dream Feeder is now a staple in my diaper bag! I have finally found that nursing on the go must have along with a nursing cover!
I love that the Dream feeder attaches with velcro to the strap that you wear on your arm. I found that when my son had fallen asleep, if I wanted to get up, that I could easily detach the pillow from the arm strap and keep his little head on the cushion at the same time. I then slowly snuck away and laid the pillow, with his head still on it, onto the couch and was able to get up to do whatever it was I needed to do. Is that genius or what?! The Dream Feeder is definitely a product that was thought through! I can not tell you how many times I was afraid to get up and fumble little mans head as I was trying to get my arm free. I am also excited to bring the Dream Feeder with us this summer on our flight to california. I am going to have my son use the Dream Feeder as his pillow while sleeping during the flight. Its going to be a long flight and I booked it at night with the hopes that the kids will just sleep through it. So the Dream Feeder has arrived at the perfect time for my family! I am really happy to have the Dream Feeder now because it has taken a lot of the strain off my arm when I am comfort nursing my little teether for what seems like forever.
