Week 7 was a great one, I am now in the groove of the plan and it’s working! I haven’t felt the need to cheat at all. I have gone out to eat several times and have stayed on the plan. I have been really surprised that I haven’t cheated once. Not because I didn’t beleive Nutrisystem could work, it’s because I don’t have that much will power. BUT if your looking for a plan that lets you eat, then this is a great one!
I have really loved almost all the food that I have tried, especially all the Breakfast items.
Here are some of my favorites: Buttermilk Pancakes, French Toast, Double Chocolate Muffin, Waffles. One of my most favorites it the Blueberry Lemon Bar! This morning I had that and a blueberry greek yogurt with just a bit of granola and it was so good!
I am usually home for lunch and like to try new things. Most of the lunch items I have tried are really good. I really like the Trail Mix Bar, especially if I know I will be gone for a long period of time. I like that I can just grab it and take with me. I also really like the Hamburger, Pepperoni Melt (any melt for that matter!) and white bean chicken chili. BUT my absolute most favorite that I tried and have now added 5 of them to my next order is the spicy kung pao noodles. Oh my word….so good!
Now here is what I do with the noodles. I like to cook those like the directions say and then I add in a sauteed asian slaw mix with a bit of an asian peanut marinade and it is too die for good! I always add some kind of veggie to lunch and dinner and sometimes breakfast too. I like to have broccoli, green beans with a bit of spray butter. I also made some really good zucchini and carrot fries using olive oil spray, pepper. garlic, sprinkle Parmesan cheese and it was so good!!
Now I have had some Nutrisystem meals that are not my favorites BUT others that I have met love them. So it’s really try them and see kind of method. They have so many different foods to choose from and I have met some really great people that give me all kinds of ideas to make meals out of the Nutrisystem Meals!
Dinner is one of the chaotic times in our house just because I’m cooking my girls dinner. Then I have to feed the baby then homework, bedtime etc. I love that most of the Nutrisystem dinner’s don’t take very long to make. Some of the dinners I have tried and really like are Chicken & BBQ Beans, Broccoli and Cheese stuffed chicken (one of my favorites!), chicken pasta Parmesan. BUT my most favorite are the Thick Crust and Flatbread Pizza. I absolutely love these because I can add whatever veggies to it that I want. I like to add spinach, green bell peppers and a bit of garlic salt. Those are my favorite!
Nutrisystem also has some super tasty snacks, in fact…wait for it…I can have CHOCOLATE!! One of my most favorite Nutrisystem desserts is the Chocolate Cupcake. I put it in the microwave till it’s warm and add a little Fat Free Cool Whip…oh my goodness, seriously so tasty! I also really like the Chocolate Chip Cookies, Coconut Almond Bar and the Smoky BBQ Rounds.
I love that I can actually eat while loosing weight! It has really changed the way I look at food. I still really enjoy food but now I have better portion control and snack on so many more healthy options.

Week 3 down 2 lbs 142!
Week 4: down 1 lbs! 141
Week 5: 140.5
Week 6: 139.5
I lost 1 whole lb! That is amazing!
I am so happy that I have reached one of my goals and that was to get under 140! I also have noticed that my clothes are fitting so much better.
