Nite Ize LED Sport Belt Revew

 

 

I was sent this product to review. All opinions expressed are my own. When I was contacted about reviewing a product for Nite Ize I was given a chose as to what I would like to review. I went to the website and was immediately impressed. They have so many awesome things that it was hard for me to decide. Then I came to their Visibility and Safety Page and there it was the first thing on the list the… Sport Belt! I knew that it was not only what I wanted to review, but that I NEEDED ONE! Being a mom of six kids it is important for me to get my exercise in (it is a necessity after all those babies.)  However, time is not on my side when it comes to fitting exercise into my busy schedule.  Therefore, I am one of the crazy people you may see running at 5:30 a.m. I love to run outside when the weather permits, but it is pitch black that early in the morning and the reflective stuff on my shoes and shirt just don’t cut it. There have been many times I and the ladies I run with have felt like we were going to get ran over! We weren’t seen by cars until they would get right up on us. There are also times that we go run at 9:00 p.m. and we have the same problem, so needless to say when my Nite Ize LED Sport Belt showed up in the mail I was thrilled! I texted my friend Melinda immediately and asked her to meet me the next morning at our normal 5:30 a.m. time to try this safety belt out.

This first picture I took, I did without the flash just to demonstrate how dark it is and how much the Nite Ize LED Sport Light WORKS! I know it’s not a good picture but that is the point, there is no light out that early or late at night. So for those of us doing outdoor biking, hiking, running, or even just walking our dogs should have a light for visibility and safety.

These next pictures I am using a flash, however you can still see how bright the Led light is and that it really does provide “Visibility and Safety” the other thing is its not bulky. It didn’t even feel like I had anything more on and it adjust to different sizes.”

 

My very athletic friend Melinda (who has kept me working out this early in the morning for the past five years) let me talk her into trying the Sport Belt and she loved it! She said she wants one! We are training to do the Rivalry Relay Race and it is an all day 60 mile event that starts at 5 a.m. so we agree each of our teammates need one too!
