Do you have a good sense of direction? I 100% do not. It truly amazes me how some people seem to be able to direct themselves almost anywhere, and I cannot drive past the end of my street without needing some directions. I am always using my car GPS tracker to guide me – even if I have been somewhere multiple times. So when Navdy contacted me and asked if I would give their Navdy head-up display a try, I jumped at the chance!! Especially for us moms, driving safety is so important. When I’m carrying such precious cargo, I DO NOT want to do anything to risk getting into an accident. Constantly looking down at the GPS or my phone is definitely not the safest way to drive, but until I heard about Navdy it was all I knew. Now, with their display that guides me right in front of my eyeballs and allows me to never take my eyes off the road, I feel much safer in my car. Here it is in the box. It comes with everything you need to get started, and “putting it together” is so simple you could barely call it that. The instruction booklet is really straightforward, and you can also get any needed directions on their app and website, with videos included. The only tricky part I found was finding where my Onboard Diagnostics Port (OBD-II Port) was in my car! Although that was also easy to find directions for!

I was able to use the regular mount, which is super simple. Some cars may require the medium or higher mount, but everything is included and the directions are straightforward. The basic mount just has a sticker that peels off the back so you can attach Navdy to your car. It’s that simple! Once you find the OBD-II Port (the location ofmine is shown above), you just plug it in! Navdy even provides cable/cord keepers that help you easily get all cords out of the way (last photo above).

Using Navdy is just as simple! The technology they use to get the graphics to come up on the clear screen doesn’t allow for a good picture by an amateur, so what you are seeing on the display pictured above is not what I saw when I took the picture. The graphics are colorful and super clear – even better than your average GPS system or your phone.

Navdy also has gesture control and provides a dial that straps onto your steering wheel so you can navigate the system without looking at your phone. SUPER easy to use. Navdy connects to a Navdy app on your phone that lets you be truly hands free from your phone and your GPS. I LOVE that you can use your voice to put in a direction command! You seriously can do everything without having to look away from the road once – even pick your music! As much as I would love to say that I pull over whenever I want to start or change my music, I have to admit that I don’t. Eek. I love how much Navdy is helping to keep us safer in the car!
