I can hardly believe that my sweet furr baby Daisy is already 10 years old. It seems like just yesterday that I surprised my husband with a sweet Boxer pup. I remember she was the sweetest little puppy and I immediately fell in love with her when I saw her. Flash forward 10 years, wow, still can’t believe it went by so fast.
Daisy has been by my side through everything. All of my pregnancies, my diagnosis of Fibromyalgia, my pain, when I lost a friend. She was always there by my side. And I mean literally by my side. When I get home she is glued to me and she follows me everywhere I go. When I shower, she is laying on the mat outside the shower. She is so much more than just a dog to me. She is a comforting presence that I know I can rely on. She means so much to me and I love her like one of my children. She is more.
With all that she does for me, I want to show her that I love her as well. She loves spending time outside, going for walks, and playing fetch (well she likes to run away with the ball and I have to chase her to get it back, LOL). Treats are a special way I can show her how much she means to me.
