I didn’t have the chance to see McFarland USA in theaters so I was excited to sit down and watch it now that it is out on Blu-ray. I really enjoyed this movie. It is an inspirational story and an all around feel good movie. I think the cast was great and did a good job of portraying each character.

McFarland USA is rated PG (for thematic material, some violence and language) so it is appropriate for your older children to watch. I wouldn’t recommend young children to watch it just because I think they would get bored.

I also enjoyed the bonus features. I love getting a behind the scenes look at what inspired the movie as well as the deleted and extended scenes.
