I attended an advanced screening of this movie for my review. All opinions are my own.
“Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” finds space adventurer Peter Quill the object of a bounty hunt after stealing an orb coveted by a treacherous villain, but when Quill discovers the power it holds, he must find a way to rally the quartet of ragtag rivals hot on his trail to save the universe.”
Let me start by saying this is an AWESOME MOVIE! It is a MUST SEE! Okay now that I have put that out there My husband and my son accompanied me to see this movie and all 3 of us loved it! We saw it in 3D and it was very well done and the 3D effects were fun.
This movie is packed with action, I highly recommend seeing it in theaters so that you get the full effect with the big screen and awesome sound. This movie is also completely hilarious! It kept us all laughing throughout the movie. The cast does an excellent job and I thought the acting was fantastic. Chris Pratt was super funny in this movie and I just loved him as Peter Quill. Also Bradley Cooper had great delivery and was very funny as Rocket.
It does have some violence so keep that in mind when taking children. I don’t think you should bring little ones but older children and teens will definitely enjoy it.
If you only see one movie this summer, make it Guardians of the Galaxy!
“From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.”-Marvel Studios
