Marie Callender’s “It’s Time To Savor” Review

 

I’m not much of a cook… at all. I try, I really do. Honestly sometimes it’s not as much the actual cooking as it is having all the ingredients available. It’s tough with two very small ones! I was so excited to be able to review the Marie Callender’s Time To Savor Kit. I am now such a Marie Callender’s fan! Their food is easy, and fantastic. And I don’t have to have a bunch of ingredients on hand! I made the Scalloped Potatoes and Ham in a Creamy Cheese Sauce for our family celebration of my son Ruben’s birthday. It was such a perfect side dish, and it’s so great to just pop it in the oven {or microwave!} and worry only about my main dish. It was definitely a hit in our family- even with my picky eater! There are so many other great flavors that look great, and I can’t wait to try them all! I absolutely love food and love to try new things that make dinner easy for my family of 3. I have eaten Marie Calendar’s dinners before and have always really liked them! I love their frozen lasagna and some of their other frozen One person meals. I got really excited to be able to try their new frozen family dinners that come in lots of different flavors. I decided to choose the White Cheddar Mac & Cheese and it was so so yummy! My daughter loved it and my husband did too. Then for dessert we were able to get one of the yummy frozen apple pies and it was also delish! I love that Marie Calendars sent a great package with everything we needed to make a family meal and have a great family night. We decorated the table with the pretty green table cloth and were able to enjoy the Netflix movie. Thanks so much Marie Calendars for making our family night extra special with your yummy food!

I was really excited to receive my Time to Savor Kit from Marie Callender’s.  It was full of goodies!  Coupons to try the Marie Callender’s Baked Meals, a Table Cloth, more coupons, & a netflix gift card.  I have been a big fan of Marie Callender’s post pies, they are so yummy.  The best frozen pot pie I have ever had actually.  I decided to try the Stuffed Pasta Medley.  It is also really good and my new favorite :)  I love that I can make dinner for my family quick and easy without sacrificing the taste.  We enjoyed our family night complete with delicious meal and entertainment from Netflix.  What a perfect family night!

When I received a package with Marie Callender’s coupons I decided to send the free coupons to my sister who is in college right now. She, of course, is broke & is always wishing for a home-cooked meal. I thought these would be perfect for her–Quick & easy & delicious since they are from Marie Callender’s. However, I did use the pie coupons they sent me. I love Marie Callender’s pies and I’m pretty sure I can’t make a pie that compares. I bought a cherry pie and baked it the other night. I put a few scoops of vanilla ice cream on it & it was the perfect dessert. The only complaint I have is that they take so long to  bake;). It’s easy to find something from Marie Callender’s that will suit your taste buds!

I am not a cook at all.  It is not my favorite thing to do in the world.  I feel that all the ‘cooking genes’ were given to my younger sister who is a professional chef.  I was super excited to receive a time to savor kit from Marie Callender’s.  I have always been a huge fan of their pies and restaurant food.  I was very worried that their ‘packaged food’ would not be as good.  It is delicious.  You get to eat yummy food with a homemade taste with very little effort on your part.  Marie Callender’s does it for you!  This is my kind of cooking.
