I received a pack of 5 Spokester noise makers for my review. All opinions are my own.
Do you remember putting playing card on your bicycle spokes as a kid? I do, we loved the sound it made. So when I was introduced to the Spokestor Bicycle Noise Makers I knew I wanted to get some for my kids.
“We want to give kids an incentive to get outside and enjoy riding their bikes instead of playing video games or sitting inside. We hope our product stimulates the imagination and provides hundreds of hours of good old-fashioned fun.”– Kevin Nelson, Inventor
The Spokester Bicycle Noise Makers are an awesome version of what our childhood playing cards did. Each Spokester is made from a sturdy and durable plastic. The part that attaches to the bar is very strong and the part that flaps against the spokes is durable but moves well to give the noise.
You want to attach the spokesters to the front wheel. You can use one or two. Two gives you a louder sound. At first I was worried the Spokester wouldn’t fit on my son’s bike since his front wheel fork has bars that are quite large. I realized I just had to push with a good amount of pressure evenly and voila it was on! We decided to put two on his bike because he wanted the most noise possible. He started riding and we were all smiles at how great the spokester noise makers made his bike sound. So Cool and So Much Fun!
I decided to take a video to let you hear how they sounded once they were on his bike. They do sound even louder and cooler in person but it gives you an idea of what they sound like.
My daughter also wanted to have some Spokester noise makers on her little bike, so we attached two on hers as well. Since her bike is small they don’t make a very loud noise (she doesn’t have many spokes on her wheels), but she still gets excited that her bike is making some extra noise. It’s cute.
Spokester has just launched a Kickstarter campaign and the rewards are priced low just for this so it is a great time to get some super fun Spokester Noise makers for the kiddos. Visit kickstarter.spokester.com for more info and to participate.
