Charlotte loves to play with dolls and doll houses. She has absolutely loved playing with her Lundby Doll House we received last year. She loves all of the little pieces and will sit down in the play room and play non stop by herself for a long time.
With a new addition on the way to our family but better way to celebrate than with dollhouse nursery furniture! I thought it was a super cute idea to add on to her doll house family at the same time we are adding onto ours!
Lundby has a great selection of doll house furniture, accessories and people which of course includes nursery furniture and people! We received the babies and the nursery furniture and some cute little toys for the babies.
I helped Charlotte set up the nursery and she was so excited to feed the baby, change the baby and of course play with the babies! I love realistic each item is from the high chair to the baby crib, cradle and the changing table!
““The story of Lundby doll’s house begins in 1945, when Axel and Grete Thomsen moved back to Sweden from Denmark. They settled down in a small neighbourhood named Lundby in the northern part of Gothenburg. Grete started designing and building a doll’s house and furniture for her niece.
These were so appreciated by the niece and her friends that Axel began to consider turning it into a business. Two years later Ferd Lundqvist & Co., (nowadays NK department store) placed the first order for no less than SEK 325. Grete and Axel spent SEK 320 of this money to buy new tools, so they could eventually introduce the first, homemade doll’s house collection. The first doll’s house factory opened the following year.
