I received complimentary tickets in exchange for my coverage of LEGOLAND California. All opinions are my own.
LEGOLAND was a park that I had over looked for years. Until I took my son for the first time several years ago, I didn’t realize just how much fun can be had at LEGOLAND California! It has so much to offer for kids, and in our family’s opinion, it is a must do when visiting California. Seriously I think it is a majorly overlooked park when families plan their trips to CA, which is a shame because family’s are definitely missing out by not visiting this super fun park for kids.
My son is 8 and my daughter is 3 and we recently visited LEGOLAND California for the holiday winter break. It was my daughter’s first time visiting the park, and she had an absolute blast! Of course my son did as well. I love that LEGOLAND offers so much for kids of all ages. It really is a great park for kids, if your child is between the ages of 2 and 13 I definitely recommend taking them!
My son was super excited about the roller coaster type rides and the driving school. Another bonus for him was the look at the set from the LEGO movie. They actually have some of the sets that you can look at, he was so excited and thought it was so cool (even I was geeking out a little about it).
Another thing my son loved was all of the LEGO Star Wars Displays. They are very cool, detailed, and even make sounds. Definitely a must see for any Star Wars fan.
My daughter is a huge fan of LEGO Friends and she was so happy to get to meet her LEGO Friends from Heart Lake city. They even performed a little show and she was mesmerized the whole time.
I definitely recommend the Snow Days and Winter Nights at LEGOLAND. It is busier than the rest of the year, but the park hours are extended so that gives you more time to enjoy the park, and I think all of the festivities are worth going even with the crowds.
They have real snow that you can play in and even go sledding!
The Holiday Nights fireworks were so magical, I had chills! It was an experience my kids and I will always remember! Take a look at the video I took of the fireworks…
Last but certainly not least, you have to get the Granny’s Apple Fries. They are SOOOO good!
We had a magical time on our visit and we will definitely be heading back to LEGOLAND CA soon!
