In school, counters are one of my best friends.  I use them like crazy in teaching math.  I use counters to help with sorting, counting, patterning, and much more.  I am always looking for new, fun counters.  I was so excited to receive the Jumbo Safari Counters from Learning Resources.

I am in love with these counters.  I love that they are big counters.  This makes it easier for my students to see me using them during large group time.  The large size also helps the students move and manipulate the counters with more ease.  I also like that the counters have a hole in the middle so you can use them like puppets.  This way when we count at school, I can put them onto my fingers.  I love how brightly colored these counters are.  I am loving the wild animal shapes.  I have dinosaur counters and bear counters but it is so fun now to have wild animals in my counter collection.

The Learning Resources Jumbo Safari Counters would be a fabulous learning tool to have in your home.  It will definitely help you with teaching counting and other early math skills.  I definitely recommend them!
