My son loves building sets and so he was excited to receive a set from K’NEX for review. The set he got is the K’NEX Plants vs. Zombies Wild West Skirmish Building Set.

My son is 6 and had a blast building this set. He is familiar with the Plants vs. Zombies app game and has played it. So he was excited to play with this set. We have found the easiest way to build for him is to separate all the pieces into color piles.
The instructions made it very easy to build the set with some help from mom.
Then it was time to play!
He has been having a lot of fun playing with this set.
The targets spin around including platforms the zombies can stand on in the middle. Then the plant shoots out little green balls at the zombies. Lots of fun!
He also got 3 mystery packs and was very excited to open them. Inside he got 2 zombies and 1 plant. He thought it was very fun to be able to open them and have a surprise.
This is a very fun set that I recommend for any child who likes to build. It would make a great gift!
