We’re in the stage of what I like to call “the second batch” – I have an 8 and 9 year old, and now a 10 month old! It is so fun to start over from the beginning (apart from the up all hours night part of course)- and one of the reasons why is the fun new baby gear we never had the first time around!

One new and improved item I have been able to try out is the Kidco TravelPod Plus® Travel Playard. I adore it. First of all, look how small it packs up. It is actually easy to carry, vs. the traditional pack and play that has handles, but it still bulky, heavy, and awkward.

It’s beautifully sleek and simple in all the right places. There is a teeny bit of a learning curve when it comes to setting it up. But once you have it figured out, it’s great and quick. We used it for a night at a friends, and Nixon slept great in it! He seemed very comfy, and it felt very sturdy and safe. And we discovered you can fit quite a few little bodies inside! =) Everything you want for a travel playard! It’s great for using around the house and outside as well, especially with it’s simple design, it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb in any room. Which is great when it comes to the bassinet- this is a perfect solution for having around the house with a newborn or infant. The bassinet it simple, not a bunch of extra parts that you’ll probably end up losing. It snaps on easily, and it uses half of the base pad as its pad. It also comes with a teeny little adorable crib sheet! Love it! Kidco is a trusted baby and kid brand, and they’ve done it again with their TravelPod Plus® Travel Playard!
