The Highchair-Helper is a pretty cool little product. For toddlers like my son, who want to try out their independence but aren’t quite coordinated to do it all themselves, it is a life-saver (or a sanity-saver). We no longer use the highchair for E during meal-time, but that is ok because the Highchair-Helper can also be used at the regular table. It’s basically a sticky placemat that keeps dishes from moving & sliding around so much. I have spent money on toddler dishes with the suction cups and they never stuck well to any surface. The Highchair Helper is a great alternative to keep food & dishes where they belong!! You won’t find any other toddler placemats that compare to this one!

Lately we have been having a lot of spills at meal time. Mainly with drinks. It is most likely because 4 year old Bug has so much energy these days. I think he just gets a little to excited and then accidentally knocks over his drink. I could just go back to the sippy but he insists on using a “big boy” cup. I was getting frustrated but didn’t know what to do. When I heard about the Highchair-Helper I knew it was the solution I was looking for. The Highchair-helper isn’t just for high-chairs you can use it as a toddler placemat on any surface. So we have started using it on Bug’s little table where he eats and it has been really great. The Highchair-Helper is sticky and holds his cup in place. It doesn’t completely eliminate spills but it has given us a significant improvement. I love that if it loses it’s stickiness it is easy to clean with just water and goes right back to being sticky again. I will definitely continue to use this with Bug and with the new baby as a baby placemat on the highchair once he/she arrives. It will be so nice to stick a bowl to the highchair-helper so then baby won’t be able to grab it and spill it all. I recommend the Highchair-Helper to all parents of baby’s and toddlers, it’s a must have!
