We have found a fantastic product for keeping prescription medications safe. It is The Locking Cap. The Locking Cap is a bottle with a Combination locking cap which keeps your prescription drugs safely locked up with a combination. All 5 of us on The Bragging Mommy review team had a chance to try it out. Here is what we think:

The Locking Cap is a fantastic product especially if you have children. When E was 9 months old, he got into a pill bottle during his nap (big sister gave the ‘shaker’ bottle to him so he would stop crying). When we discovered him, he was surrounded by Tylenol pills and we had no idea if he had swallowed any. Turns out, he actually did overdose & we spent 2 days in the hospital while they made sure his levels went down. It was really scary & pretty traumatic for us. Ever since then, I have had a bit of anxiety thinking about the pill bottles that are in our house. I try my best to keep them out of the reach of my kids, but accidents can always happen. The Locking Cap let’s me rest easy knowing that my kids can’t get into this bottle! It is easy to use and will keep that medication truly ‘child-proofed’. All we had to do was choose a number code and the cap was locked!! So simple but so safe! We have certainly learned that we can’t rely on the child-proof caps that come with all the medicines we buy. Kids are smart (even at nine months!!). I love knowing that the Locking Cap is helping me keep my kids safe. Now we just need about 5 more and we’ll be good!!

I am a huge fan of The Locking Cap. There is no better way to make sure your prescription drugs won’t be taken by those who shouldn’t be taking them. This is a must have product if you have teenagers in your home. Teens are at such a high risk for drug abuse and prescription drugs are the easiest way for them to do it. I like knowing that my prescriptions are locked up when I have my teenage brothers and sisters come stay at my house. I also like knowing that 4 year old Bug won’t be able to accidentally get into them either. It gives me great peace of mind. I like that it is easy to set up my combination and they even have a great video on their site to show you how. I like that I can register my combination so I will know how to open it should I ever forget it. I also like that it can’t be reset once you set it. Another great feature is that the bottle is quite large so I can fit my whole prescription bottle right inside of it. I highly recommend all parent’s have at least one if not more Locking Cap in their home to safeguard prescription drugs.

The Locking Cap is really easy to use, and I especially like that you can set your own combination, making it easy for you to remember. There are easy to understand instructions included, and everything else really speaks for itself. Why risk it? Make sure you keep everyone in your house safe!

I really like the new invention of The Locking Cap Prescription bottle. I think it is a great idea to help give you a sense of security with your medications. The combination for the bottle is very easy to setup. I really like that on The Locking Cap official website, you can register your combination. That way you will not need to worry if you forget your combination. You also have the option of resetting your combination if needed. There is a reset button on the bottle. I am excited to use The Locking Cap medicine bottle in the future whenever I have my own kids. I will have more peace of mind knowing that it will be hard for my kids to get into medications if they somehow get a hold of them. The Locking Cap medicine bottle is a great invention to have in your family’s home especially if you have young children or teenagers

I think it’s really important now that Leah is getting older to make sure all of our medicines and other harmful things are locked up good and tight. Sometimes the child safety that is on the medicine bottle doesn’t always work. That’s why the Locking Cap is a great way to keep her safe from harmful things. I love that you pick your own combination and only you know the password. It’s great to keep out those little hands and make sure they can’t get into it no matter how hard they try!
